Shop With A Cop

The E. A. Cox Middle School Drug Free Club made a $400.00 donation recently to the Shop with a Cop program.  Each year students who may not be fortunate enough to receive Christmas gifts are selected to Shop with a Cop.  Funding for this program comes from the Maury County Sheriff's Department along with generous donations from student organizations.  The Drug Free Club has been busy recycling and conducting other fundraisers in order to help their less fortunate peers.  "These students embody the spirit of giving through their generosity," said Jonathan Barry, the School Resource Officer.  Officer Barry received the donation check from the Drug Free Club on behalf of the Shop with a Cop program.
